Will Richardson, the Horizon Report, and Education

The author of our text, Will Richardson, recently posted some thoughts on the reinvention of school, and used data collected in the Horizon K-12 report to highlight his thoughts. Two major points include:

• There is increasing interest in just-in-time, alternate, or non-formal avenues of education, such as online learning, mentoring, and independent study. 
• The way we think of learning environments is changing.
