ASSIGNMENTS
This week we are going to create a podcast. No doubt you have heard of those before and this week you are going to make one. You may imagine that you need an iPod to listen to a podcast but that is just not the case. A podcast can be placed on your blog, a wiki, or any other html environment. This week we are going to place your podcast on your class blog. In Blackboard, the podcast might look like the one below.
For this assignment you will need a microphone to create the audio clip. If you have a webcam it is very likely that there is one built in to the camera. If you are unsure, please email us and we can help you individually. What is the subject of your podcast you might ask? Last week you created an introduction to your course. This week you are going to explain something that you have found students frequently have difficulty with. It could be the difference between adverbs and verbs, or nouns and pronouns. It could be the basic differences between Democrats and Republicans. Whatever your field is, be creative.Try to make it between two and three minutes in length.
